Never get stressed in the gym!.

A little life lesson that I want to share with you and ask you to remember every day and tell your friends.

This story is about the stress that this company throws at us even if we don’t want it.

A psychologist was explaining how to better manage stress.

When he raised a glass of water, the whole audience imagined that he would ask the usual question:

“Glass half full or half empty?”

What he asked instead was, “How much do you think this glass of water weighs?”

Responses ranged from 250 to 400 grams.

“Absolute weight doesn’t matter,” the psychologist replied, “it depends on the time I hold it.

If I lift it for a minute, it’s not a problem.

If I support him for an hour, my arm will hurt.

If I lift it all day, my arm will be numb and paralyzed. In any case the weight of the glass does not change, but the longer I support it, the heavier it becomes.”

And he went on:

“The stresses and worries of life are like that glass of water.

If you think about it for a moment, nothing happens.

Think about it a little bit longer and they start to hurt.

And if you think about it all day, you will feel paralyzed and unable to do anything.”

It is important to remember to let go of our stresses.

In the evening, as soon as possible, we put our burdens.

We don’t carry them all night and all night.

Let’s remember to lay the glass of water!

Now why did I write this story to you?

The reason I did it is because you have to do the same thing when you enter your martial arts gym where you suddenly immerse yourself in a totally different world from the one you’d been until a few minutes before.

The gym is a concrete place where words stand at zero,where there are no excuses and you are yourself naked and raw in front of reality.

It is you and your opponent who is a part of yourself and the person in front of you.

Training will allow you to bring thoughts that stress you to a much lower level, I would give it a totally different weight at the end of your workout, your gym will be a real stressor, your trusted psychologist, the friend to talk to.

Don’t stress, train!
